If so, Grundfos is looking for a Senior Public Affairs Advisor to direct its public affairs activities in UK/London. As a Senior Public Affairs Advisor, you will execute Grundfos' public affairs activities in the UK, with a focus on enhancing Grundfos' impact on the sustainability agenda, specifically within the water and climate policy, and supporting the transition towards more energy-efficient heating solutions aligned with the UK official policy to reach net zero in 2040.

 

What is the job about?

 Grundfos is looking for a Senior Public Affairs Advisor to direct its public affairs activities in UK/London, in collaboration with the regional PA team and the regional business leadership within its four divisions. You will be based within, or within a short commuting distance to London and responsible for Grundfos' advocacy activities. Your responsibilities will focus on enhancing Grundfos' impact on the sustainability agenda, specifically within the water and climate policy and supporting the transition towards more energy-efficient heating solutions in line with the UK official policy to reach net zero in 2040. As the key person in relevant interest organizations, you will also build a reputation as a trusted partner among political stakeholders in the UK.

 

Your main responsibilities:

• Build the Grundfos brand as a trusted partner in the political dialogue on climate and water-related issues in the UK.

• Spearhead the PA activities in high-profiled European engagement project on implementing new policies utilising low hanging fruits in upgrading domestic heating systems to more efficient solutions including replacement of inefficient pumps.

• Execute Grundfos' public affairs advocacy activities, including issue tracking, stakeholder mapping, input to consultations, engagement with relevant interest organizations, etc. You will work closely with the business divisions to create a supportive regulatory framework for Grundfos solutions.

• Gather and disseminate information on political and regulatory issues relevant to our business to our regional leaders, as well as feed into our global political intelligence framework.

• Take part in building up and consolidating a regional team that can deliver on our ambitions across our business areas.

 

Your background

 Firstly, we hope you have a huge enthusiasm and interest in water and climate change!

Coupled with:

• Approx 5+ years of experience in a UK policy institution, interest organization, Public Affairs agency or a corporate governance affairs position.

• In-depth knowledge of the UK policy arena and a key interest in environment, water, and/or climate agenda.

• A mature network from UK institutions such as parliament, ministries, agencies, and interest organizations.

• Team player with the ability to exercise good judgment in a rapidly changing environment.

• Experience with building alliances and campaigns with key stakeholders.

• Great interpersonal, political, analytical, and communicative skills.

• Ability to identify opportunities and areas for improvement and operate in a fast-paced environment.
