Sales Engineer, OEM - UK&I
Job Description

We are looking for our new colleague as a Sales Engineer to join our team in the UK, covering the Midlands area.

What does the job entail?

As a Sales Engineer you will be responsible for managing a diverse range of key stakeholders, including purchasing, product managers, operations managers, R&D department, sustainability responsible and other relevant OEM manufacturer stake holders. By effectively nurturing and growing these relationships, you will play a vital role in driving Grundfos' success in the region.

 

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Secure incremental sales across the complete Grundfos product portfolio
  • Secure profitable business through distribution, contractors, and consultants
  • Maintain an accurate CRM database to support sales and customer maintenance
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, promptly resolving customer queries
  • Record all CRM activities in line with company procedures using our CRM/C4C package
  • Execute marketing and sales strategies through targeted promotional campaigns and incentives
  • Monitor product and customer sales reports and KPIs to ensure targets are met, taking corrective actions as needed
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Manage and maintain pricing support mechanisms across the business

 

 

 

Your background: 

  • Strong background in the OEM manufacturing market across water treatment, temperature control & industrial process particularly working with OEM manufacturing.
  • Pump knowledge will be beneficial
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding and dynamic environment where meeting deadlines and targets is crucial
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Above-average commitment and drive to succeed in the role
  • Great communication skills and persuasiveness to excite customers and build long-term relationships
