Project Manager
Job Description

Grundfos are looking for a Project Manager to join the UK Water Utilities delivery team, located in a commutable distance to our Leighton Buzzard office.
As our Project Manager, you will coordinate people and processes to ensure that projects are delivered safely and on time. You will be the go-to person for everything involving the project.


What is the role about?

 Specific project manager responsibilities include:


•    Developing detailed project plans with other project managers.
•    Developing commissioning plans for engineered-to-order projects.
•    Working with the proposal team in technical reviews.
•    Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
•    Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
•    Working with product managers on new products and innovations.
•    Reporting and escalating to management as needed.
•    Managing the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
•    Performing risk management to minimize project risks.
•    Establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties/vendors.

What skills and experience should you have?

We would expect you to have experience in project management. You are an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks at one time. You are a team player with a problem-solving attitude and comfortable working with tight deadlines.
•    Proven successful project management experience.
•    Good verbal communication skills - internally and customer-facing.
•    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Smart sheets Project, or Excel.
•    Ideally qualified to HNC or demonstrable equivalent either academically or vocationally, in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Instrumentation, Control, and Automation.
•    Project Health & Safety experience, with site supervision qualifications (SSSTS or SMSTS) and ideally IOSH Managing Safely.
•    Awareness of project contracts and contract law.
