As our new HR Specialist, you will be delivering end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle, partnering with managers and employees to ensure smooth, compliant, and people-centered HR operations that align with Grundfos's global standards.

 

This role is based in our office in Leighton Buzzard.

 

What you will be doing

 

As a key part of the People & Organisation team for UK & Ireland, you'll create impact by Strengthening our HR foundations by ensuring seamless people processes, driving employee engagement, and enabling our teams to focus on what matters most - delivering sustainable water solutions to the world.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

 

  • Manage core HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, contract changes, and supporting implementation of organisation design, employee data management with accuracy and timeliness
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related inquiries eg. Performance & absence management, disciplinary & grievance, training and development
  • Support apprentice recruitment activities by coordinating interviews, preparing offer documentation, and ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Administer and maintain HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, People Inc.), ensuring data integrity and generating reports to support decision-making
  • Contribute to HR compliance efforts by monitoring local labor law requirements and supporting internal audits and policy updates in line with legislation
  • Supporting Diversity, Volunteering and wellbeing agendas and initiatives for UK & Ireland
  • Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and participate in cross-functional projects related to employee experience, engagement, and organizational development

 

What makes you a great fit

 

Above all, you are a detail-oriented HR professional with strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of HR operations, and a genuine commitment to supporting people throughout their employment journey. We would also imagine that you have:

 

  • Professional HR certification (e.g. CIPD), Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist or HR specialist role, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Working knowledge of HR information systems (SAP SuccessFactors or similar) and proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR compliance requirements
  • Experience with HR process improvement
