Area Sales Manager, WU - UK

What is the job about?

You'll be the face of Grundfos, at the forefront of managing our valued Anglian Water and Affinity Water end user customers, playing a key role in delivering sustainable water solutions, developing new sales opportunities and maintaining recurring business, while sharing market knowledge within the team to strengthen Grundfos's business results and market share.

 

This role reports to the Sales Director and will ideally be based in or around East Anglia. Frequent travel is expected.

 

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets while ensuring compliance with company policies and systems.
  • Build and nurture relationships with external stakeholders including end users, consultants, and authorities.
  • Develop and support our dealer network, enhancing their capabilities in collaboration with Channel Management.
  • Maintain framework mechanisms used across the water utility business
  • Create and execute strategic sales plans tailored to your region.
  • Monitor and manage account receivables, ensuring timely payments and healthy cash flow.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

 

Your background:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Water/Wastewater Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of sales experience in water process products or related industries.
  • Strong communication skills in English at all levels, with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • A technical background and familiarity with the water and wastewater treatment market.
  • Positive, resilient and a good networker (track record in collaborating within own company but also internationally).
  • Good Business Acumen.
  • Excellent presentation skills
