What is the job about?

Based at our HQ in Bjerringbro, Denmark, you will become a part of the Group Environment Health and Safety, Strategy, Planning and Execution Team (EHS SP&E), consisting of 8 highly skilled colleagues based in Denmark and Serbia. The Team is responsible for deploying and implementing business processes and projects across primarily our Own Operations, and we aim at ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and sustainability across the organization.

 

Your main responsibilities

As the Lead Project Manager in our Water Sustainability project, you will have an important role in implementing our ambition of becoming a Sustainable Water Leader. Moreover, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Work hands-on with project management, transforming complex cases into actionable plans.
  • Collaborate with relevant Group Functions, Divisions and cross-functional governance boards.
  • Take ownership and ensuring effective project execution, meeting expectations to Scope, Quality, Cost, Time, Benefits, and Risks in the entire lifecycle of the project(s).
  • Empower and coordinate the project team members towards the project outcomes.
  • Show diligence by proactively capturing and raising concerns and proposing countermeasures in due time.
  • Conduct periodic assessments of advancement.
  • Monitor, coordinate and communicate changes within the project frame.
  • Excel in continuous Stakeholder Management of functions and individuals impacted by the project.
  • Create clear, transparent, and committed agreements with team managers/team members by involving them in planning.

Furthermore, you will also help build advanced Project Management Competencies within GEHS by

  • Mentor more junior colleagues.
  • Establish and share best practices.
  • Capture post-implementation learnings of projects across GEHS.

 

 

Your background

We are looking for an experienced project manager with a previous experience with leading strategically important projects to success within a global environment. We are open to different backgrounds and experiences - the most important thing is that you have hands-on experience and are eager to lead and find solutions. Furthermore, we imagine that you have:

 

  • A Master or Bachelor within Engineering/Science/Business
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience with managing complex projects in a global company with multiple stakeholders around the world.
  • Experience with deploying strategies and leading strategic initiatives within a complex business environment.
  • High personal drive and positive attitude, with sound judgement and ability to balance risk and opportunities.
  • A curious mindset and that you are eager to learn and teach.
  • Confident mindset when making decisions without having all the details.
  • English Proficiency Advanced
  • The ability to travel (anticipate up to 30 days pr. year)

 

As an individual, you excel in varied and fast-paced environments, constantly seeking to stay updated with the latest advancements in Project and Change management. Your advanced communication skills enable you to navigate diverse stakeholder opinions while maintaining persistence in achieving shared goals.
