About us
As our new Lead Project Manager, Partnerships you will join a small team of 5 in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering. The team is responsible to drive and develop the global portfolio of knowledge, technology and equipment partners used to innovate, develop, and deliver our future manufacturing technologies and equipment in Grundfos globally. In doing so, the team have a close collaboration internally with manufacturing plants, Group Purchasing and colleagues in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and externally with universities as well as technology and manufacturing equipment suppliers for the industry. 

 

What is the job about?
You will lead the development and refinement of our partnership strategies on a global scale. You will be responsible for driving, developing and optimizing a global portfolio of partnerships, preferred suppliers and knowledge partners used to innovate, develop, and deliver manufacturing technology and equipment to Grundfos. You will enhance our ability to integrate external manufacturing technology partners, fostering agility, speed, and scalability. You will challenge existing mindsets and ways of working, interacting with managers and specialists at all levels of the organization. Your projects will span from scoping to successful implementation – this is to meet the business need for:

  • Collaborating with externals to tap into knowledge that is currently beyond our internal expertise.
  • Partnering for co-development to exploit technologies and knowledge available in the market.
  • Develop our global network of partners/suppliers of manufacturing equipment and solution to enable our manufacturing strategy.
  • Continuously driving value creation, speed, simplicity and agility.

 

This role operates in an international environment and may require up to 25 days of travel per year.

 

Your background
You are empathic with a technical background and business acumen. You excel at building relationships and driving organizational transformation through impactful communication. You are structured, analytical, and data-driven, capable of prioritizing in a fast-paced environment and identifying the highest-value partners and activities. Furthermore, we imagine that you have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or similar.
  • Great project management skills.
  • Experience in driving successful change management, preferably in an international, cross-functional matrix organizations.
  • Experience working with technology and equipment for manufacturing.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
