What is the job about?
The Finance Business Partner represents Finance in the management team of the performance unit of the newly established Water Treatment Europe organization with the purpose of::
- Proactively supporting and constructively challenging the management team in the definition and execution of business plans.
- Contributing with constant focus on performance management and high-quality analysis to strengthen decision-making processes.
- Being accountable for Finance in the performance unit and acting as one point of contact for the management team.
- Ensuring optimal contribution to Group Profitability on relevant dimensions.
Your main responsibilities:
- Provide financial insights to the unit management team on strategic and tactical levels when defining long and short-term business plans, quantifying the plans, and setting milestone targets.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and provide business decision support to unit management.
- Ensure financial value creation based on group profitability mindset and link to the overall strategy.
- Deploy and develop financial acumen in all levels and functions of the performance unit.
- Drive financial performance management in the unit management team, defining both long-term and short-term KPIs and selecting relevant measurements.
- Monitor and follow up on main KPIs, ensuring corrective actions are taken if needed.
- Drive the financial planning process, including preparing the annual budget, periodic forecasts, and participating in relevant stakeholder meetings.
- Support or drive strategic initiatives/projects in the performance unit and participate in centralized projects impacting the core business of Grundfos Water Treatment Europe.
- Take leadership in the finance community by involving, coaching, and developing relevant parties in FP&A, Shared Service, and Compliance Controlling.
Your background
We imagine that you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience.
- 6-7 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong financial performance management skills.
- Experience in budget and forecast preparation.
- Ability to develop business cases and ensure compliance and controlling.
- Proficiency in process development and IT systems.
- Excellent English proficiency.
- Key behaviors such as accountability, collaboration, and customer centricity.
- Competencies in entrepreneurial and commercial thinking, persuading and influencing, delivering results and meeting customer expectations, deciding and initiating action, relating and networking, and analyzing.
