What it the job about?
We are looking for a new Lead Engineer, to strengthen the acceleration of innovation in electrical motors, as part of our Group Advanced Manufacturing Engineering division of over 250 colleagues. As a Lead Engineer in our Motor, Mechatronics & Systems department, you will be responsible for creating and pioneering a comprehensive strategy for the area, driving innovation and excellence in manufacturing. You will join a team of highly engaged colleagues in redefining the manufacturing, and enable remanufacturing, of sustainable motors.
Moreover, you will:
- Manage the Technology Development Road Map for motors.
- Support product and production development on specific projects.
- Lead and support technology development projects.
- Stay updated on the latest manufacturing trends, both internally and externally.
- Collaborate across the organization and manage current production processes.
- Build and maintain technical partnerships with universities, technical institutions, and startups.
Your background
We imagine that you:
- Hold a relevant PhD or master’s degree in mechanical or Electric Engineering or a related field.
- Have several years of experience in motor design and manufacturing.
- Have strong business acumen and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Have knowledge of active materials within motors.
- Have proven ability to mentor and lead research and technology development projects.
- Have a passion for sustainability.
- Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Additional Information: This position is based at our HQ in Bjerringbro, Denmark, with the possibility of a hybrid workplace. You can expect approximately 10-25 travel days per year to expand your knowledge, build relationships, and gain inspiration.
