What is the job about?
Responsible for Municipality sales, Gauteng and surrounding areas, Key Account management and achieving Monthly and yearly sales target. Conducting various marketing activities and Providing necessary technical support to Key Account Sales team. Handling of sales within assigned business scope /Framework of the strategies and policies of the company
Your main responsibilities:
- Realize individual sales target. Implementation of sales policies, procedures and systems to ensure compliance with corporate policies and provide working guidelines for the sales team;
- This position is part of the Grundfos South Africa – Water Utility Muni Sales team and will be responsible for Municipality Sales in Gauteng and surrounding areas .
- Develop and maintain key partner network, develop partners competency in collaboration with key account management;
- Develop a designated customer base including preparation plans, budgets and promotional activities.
- Build up and maintain good relationship with All external stakeholders, including end users, design institute, consulting firms, authorities, and etc.
- According to sales target, work out sales strategy and action plan in the specific business area of the specific region.
- Monitor account receivable balance monthly; follow up with customers on outstanding balances and ensure that customers pay as per terms to help manage cash flow and reduce potential bad debts. Develop the existing customer on quotation, submission and marketing activities
- To Identify /Develop new municipal application areas, business area and new customers
- Project pipeline follow up
- Get update marketing status & report to direct
- Update CRM tool on sales order, opportunity, quotation and activities
- Input Customer master data update
Your Background:
- A technical qualification, Mechanical or Water Industry with about 2-3 years of Professional Experience
- Must have key account management and business development skills
- Experience driving developed process within Municipality segment
- Project management experience
- Strong ability of influence others
- Strong technical knowledge of products, system and local regulation
