Warehouse Operator
Job Description

The job purpose of a Warehouse Administrator is to support the overall operations of a warehouse through effective management of administrative tasks and systems. This role is vital for ensuring that the warehouse runs efficiently and effectively while maintaining accurate records.

 

Your main responsibilities:

GOOD INBOUND

  • Coordinate with driver when unloading the packages from truck and place it on temporary storage area; verify delivery/shipment document, type, quantity and visual condition of product as well as the wooden/cartoon box condition.
  • Record and report all unusual condition found (such as shortage quantity, wrong product delivered, discrepancy between data printed on document and physical condition, defective packing or product,etc)   to those concerned; verify with QC inspector if necessary.
  • Placing the finished products/components/parts that have been verified (already labeled APPROVED) to storage rack or area in accordance with procedures and methods that have been assigned.
  • For product/component supplied by internal group suppliers, placing the finished products/components/parts that have been detain (labeled with REJECTED) to QC Inspected area to follow-up by QC Inspector.
  • For product/component supplied by local suppliers that have been detain (labeled with REJECTED) by QC Inspector, inform the supplier and return product/component to them.

GOOD OUTBOUND

  • Coordinate with Transporter service company related to process of loading package into their vehicles; ensure the package is loaded in a way that is safe and not damage; also type, product number of product and amount accurate same with data printed on delivery note.
  • Ensuring that the products will be shipped to the customer has been plastered with label inspection APPROVED and package condition is good, was clean from labels that are not necessary and the graffiti as well as equipped with warranty card.

ORDER FULFILLMENT

  • Supplying components/finished goods/spare parts to production line, service workshop or send it to external address according to product number, quantity and date of supply requested, refer to kind of document he/she receipt (production order, service order or picking list).
  • Follow up complain from production line or service workshop on finding defects/damaged they received by sending replacement one, after QC Inspector issued Stock Failure Report/SFR.

OPERATION OF FORKLFT

  • Responsible for operating forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and count the product will supply.
  • On daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on forklift or other equipment (such us scales, PC Desktop, printer, etc.)

Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following work instruction manual.

HOUSEKEEPING

  • Maintain warehouse, tidy and orderly work area; keeping gangways clear, all supplies are stacked and put into designation storage rack and litter removal;
  • Assist in maintaining security of the warehouse.
  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.

GENERAL WAREHOUSE DUTIES

As required or ordered by warehouse coordinator or Logistics Manager, such as back up other Warehouse operators

 

Your background:

  • Education background and Work Experiences:
  • Minimum Senior High School/technical school with 1 (one) year experience in warehouse activities
  • Certified and have license as Forklift operator
  • Have basic knowledge and attention to safety
  • Ability to multitask and work in fast paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external relation and co-workers
  • Ability to function well as part of a team and work under pressure
  • Diligent attention to details
  • Can operate Office software/computer skill (such as word, excel, outlook) and SAP or Warehouse Management System
  • Have knowledge about warehouse management
