As our new Senior Service Engineer, you will be providing expert mechanical engineering support, diagnosing and resolving complex pump and system issues on-site, and building strong customer relationships across diverse industries in Indonesia.
What you will be doing
- Perform on-site mechanical troubleshooting, commissioning, and repair of pump systems, ensuring timely resolution and high customer satisfaction
- Conduct engineering and technical analysis, preparing detailed service reports with accuracy and within required response times
- Execute Site Acceptance Risk Assessments (SARA) and maintain strict compliance with safety standards including LTI and hazard observations
- Deliver clear technical presentations and explanations to customers, translating complex engineering concepts into actionable recommendations
- Identify and generate service leads and sales opportunities during field engagements to support business growth
- Maintain accurate timesheet utilization and FAS input, contributing to cost efficiency and warranty ratio targets
What makes you a great fit
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering or field service roles, with strong hands-on technical capability
- Proven ability in engineering/technical analysis, reporting, and documentation
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical matters clearly to non-technical audiences
It is a plus if you also:
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of digital systems, instrumentation, or automation technologies
- Experience in sales support, lead generation, or promotional activities within a technical service context
