As our new District Sales Manager, Water Utility, you will be driving territory growth across Northeast Florida by partnering with Grundfos Business Partners and direct accounts to expand our municipal water utility footprint.

This position follows a remote work model and can be based anywhere in Northeast Florida, preferably in or around Jacksonville, FL.
What you will be doing
As a key part of the Water Utility Sales team, you'll create impact by strengthening Grundfos's presence in the municipal water market by developing distribution channels, executing strategic territory plans, and delivering pumping solutions that support essential water infrastructure.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Partner with business partners on joint sales visits and regional trade shows to facilitate and add value to the municipal selling process.
- Develop, maintain, and execute a comprehensive territory plan for Northeast Florida.
- Assess and manage municipal/water utility distribution channels, evaluate partner performance, and resolve channel conflicts in alignment with territory strategy.
- Sell directly to existing and prospective accounts in project sales situations, leveraging Dodge Reports and municipal bid processes.
- Deliver product training and technical education on Grundfos pumps, applications, and sales processes to all levels of the sales channel.
- Maintain accurate records of partner and account activities in CRM and prepare territory reporting as needed.
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a technically minded sales professional with knowledge of the municipal water utility market, strong channel management skills, and a proven ability to grow territory revenue through strategic partnerships. We would also imagine that you have:
- A degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in the municipal or pump industry.
- Experience with the municipal sales process including specification, bid, and project-based selling.
- Demonstrated knowledge of pumps and pumping systems, including VFDs, controllers, and electronically controlled pump systems used in water utility applications.
- Professional sales skills including key account strategy development and execution.
- A valid driver's license.
It is a plus if you also:
- Experience with Dodge Reports or similar construction project tracking tools.
- Familiarity with Grundfos products or comparable municipal pump product lines.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.

The salary range for this position is $79,000.00 - $125,410.00. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in this region, Central Florida Region.
