As our new Inside Sales Engineer, you will be owning and driving a strategic sales pipeline, engaging senior stakeholders remotely to shape requirements, lead solution specifications, and close high-value deals that deliver real commercial impact. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Commercial Building Services team, you'll create impact by Driving revenue growth and customer success by leading complex technical sales cycles from opportunity identification through contract closure, ensuring Grundfos solutions meet critical customer needs.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Own and develop a robust sales pipeline, managing high-value and complex opportunities from qualification to close
  • Engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers remotely to understand needs, shape requirements, and position Grundfos solutions
  • Lead specification of technical solutions, including building investment cases and compelling technical positioning
  • Drive online negotiations and contract closure, ensuring strong commercial outcomes and customer value
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Application Engineering, External Sales, and CSSC teams to ensure seamless delivery
  • Create, maintain, and manage customer master data in SAP to support accurate pipeline and account management

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a commercially sharp technical sales professional with strong remote engagement skills, the confidence to lead complex negotiations, and the ability to bridge customer needs with engineered solutions. We would also imagine that you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical inside sales, sales engineering, or B2B solution selling
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to specify and position engineered products or systems
  • Proven track record of managing complex sales pipelines and closing high-value deals remotely
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP/CRM systems for pipeline and customer data management

It is a plus if you also:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline
  • Experience in the pump, water technology, or industrial equipment industry
  • Familiarity with investment case development and value-based selling methodologies
