The position is remote and it is not required to live in Denmark. We are open to receiving applications from professionals who are located near any Grundfos office worldwide.
What is the job about?
Grundfos aims to become climate-neutral by 2050 and ensure providing drinking water access to 300 million people in need by 2030. The key to solving these challenges is to draw in financing that enables the implementation of projects.
This job focuses on structuring financing solutions for start-up projects linked to climate and impact investment funds. The role will involve partnership development with financing institutions, structuring of financing mechanisms and deals, financial modelling, risk assessment, and investment analysis.
Your main responsibilities:
Structuring Financing Solutions
• Develop tailored financing structures for climate and impact investment projects.
• Analyze feasibility, risk, and financial viability to design optimal funding.
• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to negotiate and implement agreements.
Establish Strategic Partnerships
• Build relationships with financing institutions and impact investors.
• Explore co-investment and strategic alliance opportunities.
• Develop innovative financing mechanisms with partners.
Collaborate with Finance Partners within Grundfos
• Align with Grundfos Finance teams on strategic investment plans.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to leverage synergies.
Financial Modelling and Analysis
• Create financial models to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Conduct due diligence on potential investments.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on analysis.
Impact Measurement and Reporting
• Define KPIs and impact metrics for funded projects.
• Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance.
• Prepare reports to communicate investment impacts.
Thought Leadership and Innovation
• Stay updated on trends and regulations in climate finance.
• Contribute to thought leadership and industry events.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and product development.
Your background:
We imagine that you have:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MSc) preferred.
• Experience with global organizations and large corporations is beneficial.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial engineering, banking, or related roles, focusing on impact-driven projects.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and quantitative analysis.
• Expertise in project finance, structured finance, or alternative investments with a relevant proven history.
Competencies
• Knowledge of climate finance, impact measurement, and sustainable investing.
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work smoothly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to environmental and social sustainability.
• Good business understanding and market insight translation.

• Comprehensive English skills; French is a plus.
