What is the job about?
You’ll be placed in the Global Forecasting team but working with the entire Group Supply Chain. You’ll be responsible for guaranteeing Supply Chain data availability and maturing the infrastructure and processes. As a Data engineer, you’ll be supporting different cross-functional projects and ensuring high automation levels across Group Supply Chain. As part of the role your focus will be on data availability, data quality, standardization, efficiency but we also expect your involvement in upskilling the team and the organization.
Your main responsibilities:
- Define Grundfos’ Global Planning data roadmap.
- Define the standards for the Supply Chain’s data platform.
- Collaborate with the IT department and the team that governs Grundfos’ data platform.
- Collaborate with other relevant departments in sharing data.
- Collect requirements from the different Supply Chain teams around their data needs.
- Develop and monitor cost effective and secure solutions for creating data availability.
Your background:
- At least 2 year of relevant work experience.
- Good background in SQL and Python.
- Some knowledge on applying heavy ETL/ELT to data.
- Experience using Snowflake or Databricks and creating data/cloud infrastructure using either Azure.
- Knowledge on version control (Git).
- Also having experience working with C# and Scala.
- It also adds value to have previously worked with SAP systems as IBP.
- Curious to dive into analytics when the foundation has been laid.
- But most importantly, willingness to learn new tools, best practices, and ways of working.
