Shipping Coordinator

As our new Shipping Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating daily shipping and logistics activities, ensuring accurate, timely, and cost-effective delivery of Grundfos products to customers globally. You will act as an important link between customers, supply chain teams, and external partners, contributing to a high level of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Establish and maintain a transparent and effective communication network with customers, enabling GMS and its partners to proactively respond to changes in demand or capacity.
  • Identify opportunities and propose solutions aimed at continuous business improvement.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and manage shipments to customers in line with agreed timelines and requirements.
  • Oversee import and export customs processes in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate customs clearance activities with designated external partners.
  • Ensure strong collaboration with Supply Planning, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to support smooth operational flow.
  • Actively contribute to and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Ensure the implementation of the Integrated Management System (IMS) within assigned processes, sub-processes, and related elements, in accordance with the “Responsibility in IMS” framework.
  • Utilize IMS standards in daily operations and contribute to its effective functioning within GMS.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the direct manager, as well as tasks defined by group or regional process owners within Operational Excellence, in alignment with the manager.

  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in a similar role is considered an advantage; however, motivated candidates without prior experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Educational background in Logistics, Economics, Transport, or a related field.
  • Good command of the English language (written and spoken).
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office tools, with the ability to support daily operational activities.
