Senior SC Process Excellence TM Expert
Job Description

Are you passionate about transforming global transportation operations through smart SAP solutions and sustainable logistics practices? Then join us in our mission to pioneer smarter solutions for moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing quality of life for people.

As our new Senior Logistics Specialist Transportation Management, you will be managing and optimizing end-to-end transportation operations across our global supply chain, serving as the go-to Subject Matter Expert for SAP Transportation Management and SAP BN4L while driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Global Transportation & Logistics team, you'll create impact by driving transportation efficiency and sustainability across Grundfos's global network by designing smarter processes and empowering logistics partners with cutting-edge SAP solutions..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Define, develop, and implement shipping and transportation processes in close cooperation with supply chain stakeholders and external partners (3PLs, carriers, freight forwarders)
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for SAP Transportation Management and SAP BN4L, leading the design and implementation of TM+BN4L projects
  • Support logistics partners globally in adopting SAP BN4L solutions — freight collaboration, global track and trace, and freight settlement — through planning, training, and testing
  • Own and execute training programs covering end-to-end logistics processes, analytics, tools, and methods
  • Drive continuous improvement in transportation cost-effectiveness and sustainability across the global network

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a results-oriented logistics professional with deep transportation management expertise, strong SAP TM and BN4L knowledge, sharp analytical skills, and a talent for building productive carrier relationships. We would also imagine that you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in transportation management or logistics within a global manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Business Network for Logistics (BN4L) and SAP Transportation Management (TM), including their integration
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong background executing complex projects and activities in Supply Chain

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies applied to logistics processes
  • Knowledge of international trade compliance and customs regulations
  • Familiarity with sustainability initiatives in transportation, such as carbon footprint reduction strategies

Why you will love working here

We care! Day to day, you can look forward to:

  • Annual bonuses, medical insurance, and a strong focus on well-being
  • Hybrid working policy with organized transportation or fuel cost compensation
  • Company-provided meals at the canteen, covered by Grundfos
  • On-site gym access and sports activities such as football, table football, and basketball
  • Discounts on employee purchases of Grundfos products
  • Long-term career development with regular dialogue and continuous learning opportunities
