We are looking for a Senior Product Development Engineer with a broad technical profile to join our team. At Grundfos, we develop ground-breaking water management technology for both private and commercial use that is both efficient and sustainable.

 

What is the job about?

In Indjija, you will join our Cost-out, De-risk department within DBS (Domestic Building Service) committed to facilitate the development of Grundfos´ core products. Here, you will join our team with experienced Development Engineers.

As our new Product Development Engineer, you will improve the DBS circulators, work with circulator compliance, product quality, cost-out, De-Risk and the ability to produce the products where focus is on mechanical update to the product. You will utilize a broad technical knowledge to support a complex product line and manufacturing set-up. You will ensure that all key stakeholders are engaged in an appropriate and timely manner is also an important aspect.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Being part of teardown workshops to identify new potential cost-out activities
  • Driving larger technical updates and improvements to the product lines
  • Securing involvement and information to relevant stakeholders in relation to engineering activities
  • Planning and in special cases inducting tests and laboratory tasks (incl. 3rd party tests)
  • Conducting analyses in connection to product changes/updates
  • Performing cost analysis and cost reduction activities
  • Preparing documentation in compliance with legislation, Grundfos processes, Standards and Grundfos practice.

 

Your background:

  • 5+ (Senior) years of working experience
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. (Master's or Bachelor's)
  • Experience in job relevant tools (3D CAD, typically Catia/Enovia, SAP or other ERP, GPC, master data, quality, etc.)
  • Experience in Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • English - verbal and written - well versed, capable of functioning in an English-only speaking environment as well as communicating with less English-proficient global peers
  • Good communication skills. Open, reliable, and trustworthy – able to create and maintain work-contacts, in own function and cross functional (interfacing/networking)
  • Persistent and stable with ability to handle more tasks simultaneously
  • Travelling days: +20 days/year
