Senior Manufacturing Architect
Job Description

Are you passionate about shaping scalable manufacturing systems that power the future of sustainable water technology? Then join us in our mission to pioneer smarter solutions for moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing quality of life for people.

As our new Senior Manufacturing Architect, you will be driving and shaping our manufacturing architecture by building, maturing, and governing the Grundfos manufacturing system — translating product and operational requirements into scalable, modular manufacturing solutions across our global operations. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.

What you will be doing

  • Build, maintain, and mature the reference architecture of the Grundfos manufacturing system, ensuring consistency, modularity, and scalability across divisions and sites
  • Define manufacturing architecture designs, roadmaps, and target states aligned with business strategy, operations outlook, and industry best practices
  • Establish and govern manufacturing system requirements and interface standards, securing adherence through governance forums and architectural reviews
  • Support the development of the end-to-end Supply Chain Network by contributing with manufacturing architecture perspectives to network evaluation and future state scenarios
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to provide manufacturing architecture input for Product Portfolio Masterplans across technical domains such as motor, electronics, and pump end

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a systems-minded manufacturing professional with deep expertise in manufacturing architecture, a strong grasp of modular and scalable production concepts, and the ability to bridge strategy with hands-on technical execution. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, manufacturing systems design, or production architecture roles within complex, multi-site manufacturing environments
  • Proven experience defining and governing manufacturing architectures, reference models, or modular production systems
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain dynamics and how manufacturing architecture supports network strategy

It is a plus if you also have:

  • Experience with manufacturing domains such as motor, electronics, or pump end technologies
  • Familiarity with System Engineering methodologies applied to manufacturing and have strong systems thinking
  • CAD experience

Why you will love working here

We care! You can look forward to:

  • Annual bonuses, medical insurance, and a strong focus on well-being
  • Hybrid working policy with organized transportation or fuel cost compensation
  • Company-provided meals at the canteen, covered by Grundfos
  • On-site gym access and sports activities such as football, table football, and basketball
  • Discounts on employee purchases of Grundfos products
  • Long-term career development with regular dialogue and continuous learning opportunities
