As our new Senior Logistics Specialist - Transportation Management, you will be managing and optimizing end-to-end transportation operations, ensuring reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable movement of goods across Grundfos's global supply chain. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Global Transportation & Logistics team, you'll create impact by driving transportation efficiency and sustainability across our global network, directly supporting Grundfos's mission to deliver water technology solutions where they're needed most..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Manage and optimize transportation operations across multiple modes (road, ocean, air) to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency
  • Negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers
  • Analyze transportation data and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities, reduce costs, and enhance service levels
  • Collaborate with warehouse, planning, and procurement teams to align transportation strategies with broader supply chain objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in transportation processes, leveraging TMS tools and automation
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and Grundfos sustainability standards

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a results-oriented logistics professional with deep transportation management expertise, strong analytical skills, and a talent for building productive carrier relationships. We would also imagine that you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in transportation management or logistics within a global manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Strong working knowledge of TMS platforms (e.g., SAP TM, Oracle Transportation Management, or similar)
  • Proven experience in carrier management, freight rate negotiations, and multi-modal transportation planning
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies applied to logistics processes
  • Knowledge of international trade compliance and customs regulations
  • Familiarity with sustainability initiatives in transportation, such as carbon footprint reduction strategies
