What is the job about?

As our Senior Hardware Development Engineer, you will be responsible to ensure products comply with electronics design principles & requirements resulting in robust design and smooth and predictable transfer of the design to the full value chain.

The key activities in that role are described in the following:

  • Contribute to product development projects with a focus on robust, manufacturable design across the full value chain (End-to-End approach)
  • Work closely with lead specialists within hardware design.
  • Actively contribute to the transfer of products design to the full value chain
  • Take responsibility for part of a product/technology area
  • Build and share knowledge of hardware design, verification and development methods and mentor colleagues
  • Apply key knowledge and technologies
  • Develop the professional area by providing input to roadmap for future activities

What do you need to apply?

  • Bachelor or Master’s in electrical engineering (Hardware, Electronics)
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience within hardware development (before entering level besides formal education).
  • Embedded Hardware design experience (Microcontrollers, Digital Electronics, EEPROM, FLASH, RTC...)
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART...)
  • Knowledge of Power electronics (230V)
  • Knowledge EMC/EMI compliance
  • Experience with LT Spice simulations
  • Experience with verification of the functionality of the design
  • Strong experience with planning own work and keeping track of time spent and quality in deliveries.
  • Possess a great understanding of the relevant systems, local laws and regulations applicable for product development.Knowledge of System Engineering and Design for Manufacturing would be a great advantage
  • Being proactive, curious and easy to communicate with.
