Where AI meets real-world impact

At Grundfos, we are passionate about solving the worlds water and climate challenges and improving people’s quality of life. As a global leader in advanced pump solutions and water technology, we consistently set the standard in terms of innovation, efficiency, reliability, and sustainability. Our commitment to making a positive impact drives everything we do, from our cutting-edge products to our dynamic workplace environment

What is the job about?

Are you the kind of person who sees a spreadsheet and thinks, “This could be smarter”? Do you get excited about AI tools not just because they’re cool, but because they can actually make work better for people?

At Grundfos, we’re on a mission to bring AI into the everyday workflows of our teams—and we need a curious, driven, and technically sharp mind like yours to help lead the way.

As our Senior Engineer, AI in Workflow, you’ll be the bridge between business needs and technical execution. You’ll explore, test, and implement AI tools that make work more efficient, more insightful, and maybe even a little more fun.

This role will be based in Indjija, Serbia and will report to the Senior manager, Digital Solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Analyze current workflows to spot where AI can make a real difference.
  • Lead research and proof-of-concepts for AI tools (including MS Copilot and more).
  • Run pilot projects, define success metrics, and iterate like a pro.
  • Integrate AI tools into existing systems and support their adoption.
  • Document best practices and mentor others on the journey.

What Success Looks Like

  • You identify and validate AI solutions that solve real workflow challenges.
  • Your pilot projects lead to broader adoption and measurable improvements.
  • You help teams work smarter, not harder—with AI tools they actually enjoy using.
  • You create clear, helpful documentation and support that empowers users.

Your background:

  • A degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in digital solution development or business process automation with a global mindset.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools (and maybe a bit of Python wizardry).
  • A knack for leading projects and integrating new tech into existing systems.
  • Fluent English.
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts.
  • Experience with data management and system performance tuning.

What’s in it for you?

Whether it’s developing leadership skills or advancing your expertise even further, we’ll support you with continuous learning and development opportunities, to help discuss and steer your long-term Grundfos career path.
