We are looking for a new Senior Engineer, to strengthen the acceleration of Innovation in electrical motors, as part of our Group Advanced Manufacturing Engineering division of over 250 colleagues.

 

About the Role: As a Senior Engineer in our Motors and Drives department, you will be responsible for scouting, exploring, maturing, and implementing new motor manufacturing technologies through driving technology projects. You will work closely with our Lead Engineer to bring life to our technology strategy. You will join a team of highly engaged colleagues in redefining the manufacturing, and enable remanufacturing, of sustainable motors.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scout for and explore new motor manufacturing technologies.
  • Give insights to our technology strategy and roadmap.
  • Support product and production development on specific projects.
  • Drive and support technology development projects.
  • Stay updated on technology trends within your domain.
  • Collaborate across the organization and consult on current production processes.
  • Initiate and supervise projects with universities.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Electric Engineering or a related field.
  • 3 to 8 years of experience in motor design and manufacturing.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of active materials within motors.
  • Proven ability to lead development projects.
  • A passion for sustainability.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Additional Information: This position is based at our site in Indija, Serbia, with the possibility of a hybrid workplace. You can expect approximately 10-15 travel days per year to expand your knowledge, build relationships, and gain inspiration.
