As our new Senior MES Engineer, you will be converting business requirements into MES solutions and driving the design, development, testing, and deployment of a standardized MES framework across Grundfos' global production sites. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Digital Architecture team, you'll create impact by shaping the future of smart manufacturing by building and deploying enterprise-level MES solutions that connect and optimize production across Grundfos' global footprint..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Derive business requirements focused on value, transform them into user stories, and drive design, development, testing, and implementation of MES solutions
  • Ensure seamless integration of MES developments with ERP, PLM, and shop floor automation systems, coordinating necessary activities across platforms
  • Support line assessments and rollouts at global production sites, connecting solution design with real-world manufacturing application
  • Monitor and coordinate with interlinked digitalization projects across Grundfos to ensure solutions are aligned and future-proofed
  • Represent the business in the MES program, playing a key role in defining requirements, scope, and business value for the platform

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a hands-on MES professional with deep discrete manufacturing experience, strong integration knowledge across ERP and shop floor systems, and the collaborative mindset to thrive in a flat, agile team bridging business and IT. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Degree in engineering or manufacturing-related field with strong experience implementing MES systems in discrete manufacturing environments
  • Proven experience developing and deploying MES solutions at enterprise level within a global manufacturing company
  • Hands-on experience with shop floor automation, equipment connectivity, and SAP ERP Operations
  • Fluent in English with excellent stakeholder collaboration skills across organizational levels

It is a plus if you also:

  • Familiarity with Siemens MES solutions, especially Opcenter
  • Experience with agile or traditional project management methodologies
  • Ability to balance a holistic systems perspective with attention to detail
