Job Description

What is the job about?
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will build and support the Data Engineers building data pipelines. Furthermore, you will act as a bridge between our IT Insights Engine team and our Data Engineers in AME.


Moreower, you will:

  • Support Data Engineers on decision making, structure and processes on data pipelines and data models.
  • Ensure we adhere to IT standards and utilize special permissions to IS accesses to help the team succeed more efficiently with the pipeline deliveries they work on.
  •  Develop Data Pipelines and make data available in Snowflake from existing data sources.
  • Interact with the stakeholders, the Product Owner and IT to build sustainable and effective data solutions.

 

What do you need to apply?

You are detail-oriented with great collaboration and facilitation skills that enable you to work with different stakeholders.

 

We imagine that you have:

  • A degree in SW Engineering, computer science or similar studies centered around data.
  • High proficiency with Python & SQL is required.
  • Preferably experience with Azure Data Factory, Snowflake & Snowpipe.
  • Preferably experience in file-based data processing, data transformation, Azure Functions, pipeline architecture, data models and pipeline deployment.
  • Preferably experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and IT security.
  • Preferably knowledge of Agile development, Azure DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure as code (ARM).
  • Preferably experience with C#, JavaScript & RegEX.
  • Preferably knowledge of Connectivity, PLCs and Machine learning.
  • Proficient in verbal and written English communication.
  • Having a background in software development will be beneficial.
