Engineering
Quality Engineer
Job Description

Are you passionate about driving quality excellence and ensuring products meet the highest standards across global production environments? Then join us in our mission to pioneer smarter solutions for moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing quality of life for people.

As our new Quality Engineer, you will be applying quality expertise across functional areas to analyze, improve, and safeguard product quality — from component inspection to vendor collaboration and audit execution. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Quality team, you'll create impact by driving continuous quality improvements that strengthen product reliability and customer satisfaction across our production areas.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Apply quality principles to analyse quality records, prepare reports, and recommend actionable improvements across production processes
  • Conduct inspection, verification, and validation of components and materials used in development processes
  • Identify and address recurring quality issues related to product performance or testing procedure reliability
  • Drive quality audits and ensure compliance with the quality competence matrix (TOP 1 Quality Tools in Operations / TOP 6 Quality in Development)
  • Collaborate with external vendors to analyse and resolve quality issues, and document performance measures for management review
  • Partner closely with production, APU team members, to align on quality standards

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a quality-driven professional with strong analytical and communication skills, capable of leading processes independently while collaborating effectively across teams and with external partners. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in quality engineering or a similar quality-focused role
  • Solid knowledge of quality management systems, tools, and methodologies (e.g., auditing, root cause analysis, inspection processes)
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience collaborating with external vendors or customers on quality-related matters
  • Familiarity with relevant local laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to quality
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels

Why you will love working here

We care! Day to day, you can look forward to:

  • Annual bonuses, medical insurance, and a strong focus on well-being
  • Hybrid working policy with organized transportation or fuel cost compensation
  • Company-provided meals at the canteen, covered by Grundfos
  • On-site gym access and sports activities such as football, table football, and basketball
  • Discounts on employee purchases of Grundfos products
  • Long-term career development with regular dialogue and continuous learning opportunities

We are inclusive! Celebrating and valuing our differences helps us see possibilities where others can't. We therefore welcome and encourage applications from all abilities, experiences, and backgrounds.
