As our new Purchasing Specialist, Indirect, you will be managing indirect procurement activities that ensure Grundfos has the goods and services needed to operate efficiently — from professional services and IT to facilities and MRO supplies. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance through KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective procurement strategies
  • Analyze spending data to identify consolidation opportunities, cost reduction levers, and process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, preferred supplier agreements, and sustainability requirements
  • Support contract lifecycle management including renewals, amendments, and onboarding of new suppliers

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a detail-oriented procurement professional with strong negotiation skills, analytical acumen, and the ability to build trusted partnerships across functions and with external suppliers. We would also imagine that you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in indirect procurement, sourcing, or purchasing within a manufacturing or corporate environment
  • Technical background in fields of mechatronics and/or machining services
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier negotiation techniques
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and data analysis tools such as Excel or Power BI
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience with e-procurement platforms or source-to-pay tools (e.g., Coupa, Ariba)
  • CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent procurement certification
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization with cross-cultural stakeholder engagement
