Production Supervisor

As our new Production Supervisor, you will be guiding and coaching an Autonomous Production Team (APT) to achieve outstanding results in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people development. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Production Operations team, you'll create impact by driving a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing that eliminates waste, empowers people, and delivers world-class production performance..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Lead and facilitate your Autonomous Production Team by setting clear direction, coaching team leads, and motivating the workforce to meet defined KPIs across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People
  • Communicate plant strategy and priorities clearly to your team, ensuring everyone understands goals and their role in achieving them
  • Train and develop team leads and operators to follow standardized processes and build ownership of their work areas
  • Drive continuous improvement activities with a relentless focus on eliminating the 7 Wastes, with particular emphasis on preventing overproduction
  • Collaborate closely with Logistics, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure seamless production execution
  • Identify key performance information and translate it into actionable insights for your team in a clear and efficient way

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a hands-on production leader with a lean mindset, strong coaching skills, and a proven ability to drive results through people and process excellence. We would also imagine that you have:

  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, departments, or business processes within production operations
  • Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles, including waste elimination and continuous improvement methodologies

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience working with Autonomous Production Teams or similar self-directed team structures
  • Familiarity with SQDICP frameworks (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Cost, People)
  • Track record of coaching and developing frontline leaders and operators
