Leadership
Lead Manufacturing Business Analyst
Job Description

Are you passionate about bridging the gap between manufacturing and finance to drive smarter, fact-based decisions? Then join us in our mission to pioneer manufacturing of smarter solutions for moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing quality of life for people.

As our new Lead Manufacturing Business Analyst, you will be partnering with manufacturing stakeholders to analyze complex business processes, identify opportunities, and deliver scenario-based business cases that optimize our production system across Grundfos's global Operations. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Manufacturing Architecture & Modularizations team, you'll create impact by driving operational excellence, translating manufacturing data into actionable insights that improve reuseability, modularity, reduce long term costs, and support strategic decision-making across Operations.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Analyze manufacturing data to identify patterns, cost drivers, and opportunities for strategic initiatives
  • Partner with Manufacturing Architects, Supply Chain, and Group Finance to align business analytics with manufacturing architecture strategy
  • Lead cross-functional projects to conclude on impact of different architecture scenarios through data-driven recommendations, e.g. alternative line concepts, degrees of modularization or merging vs separating lines
  • Quantify short‑term vs long‑term consequences, risks, and trade‑offs, and present clear pros/cons to support prioritization and decision‑making
  • Champion best practices financial frameworks and ensure consistency of manufacturing architecture metrics across sites and projects

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are an analytically rigorous professional with manufacturing domain knowledge, strong financial acumen, and a talent for turning complex datasets into clear, compelling narratives that drive action.

We imagine that you have:

  • A Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, or operational analytics within a manufacturing environment
  • A proactive mindset with big curiosity and capability of being self-driven
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs, cost structures, manufacturing- and investment processes

It is a plus if you also:

  • Have experience working in a global, multi-site manufacturing organization
  • Are a clear and credible communicator towards both technical and non‑technical stakeholders across multiple levels
  • Are structured, fact‑based, and decision‑oriented

Why you will love working here

We care! Day to day, you can look forward to:

  • A working environment built around your needs, with flexible hours, home working opportunities and parental support.
  • Annual bonuses, health insurance and a strong focus on well-being activities.
  • Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering in your community.
  • Access to on-demand training and learning sessions and carefully structured programmes to pursue personal and professional development opportunities.

We are inclusive! Celebrating and valuing our differences helps us see possibilities where others can't. We therefore welcome and encourage applications from all abilities, experiences, and backgrounds.
