What is the job about?
As our Lead Engineer, Architecture, you will be responsible for leading the development of control architecture. You will also be the pivot role of leading overall review and maintenance work for our standardized control architecture document, to ensure the platform, module, and standards are in the most effective and user-friendly status.
The key activities in that role are described in the following:
· Define, develop, mature and life cycle manage new manufacturing platforms and architectures to be used across the divisions within relevant area - including all the needed interfaces and standards
· Platform ownership and life cycle management
· Support definition and lead the Architecture & Modularization Strategy for manufacturing equipment in Grundfos across Divisions and global manufacturing plants within relevant area
· Lead the definition and lead the implementation of our future global standards for modularization and standardization (SW) for manufacturing equipment in Grundfos
· Support definition and lead the implementation of A&M process and tools
· Support that architectures and modules are integrated in roadmaps and scoping of MOST pre-burners, DP projects, ME projects and technology projects to enable high utilization of architectures and modules
· Support decisions on behalf of the group on which architectures and design elements are needed (existing and new)
· Support definition of group equipment partnerships together with Group AME partnership function – based on needs and in collaboration with Division
· Ensure creation of relevant lines, cells, functional elements, tools and interfaces in Grundfos Design
· Ensure commonality mindset in creation of modular architecture within Grundfos Design Library, focusing on using across Divisions and manufacturing domains/segments
· Being a vital part of continuously improving our supporting business processes (Grundfos Design Library, various templates, explicit use etc.)
· Be responsible for line control architecture development, keep developing the know-how in the areas, to be/maintain the expert level knowledge/skills, and ensure Grundfos prepare in advance for the future technology
What do you need to apply?
· 5-7 years of experience with Line control program standardization and/or modularization
· M.Sc. or equivalent, preferable within Electrical/Control Engineering
· System Engineering capability, e.g., reference level C from Unity (preferred)
· Fluent speaking English and good written English
· Experienced with IT/OT integration and architecture development (MES/SCADA/PLC interface development)
· Experienced with typical PC/PLC programming software (Rockwell/Siemens/Beckhoff PLC, and/or C, C++,Python etc.)
· Familiar with industrial standards in control architecture development (ISA88/ISA95 etc.)
· Good communication and presentation skills
· Open mindset for learning new competences and proactive attitude in collaborating with different stakeholders
· Travel activity is included in the job
