As our new Health and Safety Specialist, you will be championing health and safety programs across our operations, identifying risks, implementing preventive measures, and ensuring compliance with EHS regulations to protect our people and the environment. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) team, you'll create impact by Driving continuous improvement in workplace safety performance, helping Grundfos maintain world-class standards that protect our most valuable asset — our people.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and incident investigations to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
  • Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs aligned with local regulations and Grundfos global EHS standards
  • Analyze safety data and leading indicators to identify trends and recommend proactive measures that reduce workplace injuries and incidents
  • Partner with production, engineering, and facility teams to integrate safety-by-design principles into processes, equipment, and layouts
  • Lead internal EHS audits and support external regulatory audits, ensuring ongoing compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001, and other applicable standards
  • Foster a strong safety culture through engagement initiatives, toolbox talks, and coaching of leaders and frontline employees

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a proactive safety professional with strong analytical skills, hands-on operational experience, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels to embed a safety-first mindset. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a health and safety role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Solid working knowledge of OSHA regulations, ISO 45001, and risk assessment methodologies
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to deliver training and drive behavioral change

It is a plus if you also:

  • Professional certification such as CSP, NEBOSH, or equivalent
  • Experience with EHS management systems and data analytics tools
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
