As our new Global Vendor Planner, you will be managing and optimizing vendor planning activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and components across Grundfos's global supply chain, driving efficiency and reliability in our procurement processes. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Global Supply Chain Planning team, you'll create impact by Driving supply chain excellence by ensuring our global production sites have the right materials at the right time, directly supporting Grundfos's mission to deliver world-class water solutions..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Plan and manage purchase orders with global vendors to ensure on-time delivery aligned with production demand
  • Monitor vendor performance metrics including lead times, delivery reliability, and quality, and drive corrective actions where needed
  • Collaborate with procurement, production planning, and logistics teams to balance supply and demand across multiple sites
  • Identify and mitigate supply risks by maintaining proactive communication with vendors and developing contingency plans
  • Optimize inventory levels and replenishment parameters to reduce costs while maintaining high service levels
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within vendor planning processes and tools, including ERP system optimization

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a detail-oriented supply chain professional with strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proven ability to manage vendor relationships in a complex global manufacturing environment. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in vendor planning, material planning, or supply chain planning within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to collaborate across cultures and time zones

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience with demand-driven planning methodologies (e.g., DDMRP) or advanced planning tools
  • APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP)
  • Experience working in a global, multi-site manufacturing organization
