As our new Facility Technician, you will be maintaining and optimizing our building systems and infrastructure to ensure a safe, functional, and high-performing work environment for all Grundfos employees. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Facility Management team, you'll create impact by Ensuring operational excellence across our facilities by proactively maintaining critical building systems and driving continuous improvement in safety and efficiency..
Your main responsibilities include:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve facility-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruption
- Conduct routine inspections of building infrastructure, identifying and addressing potential risks
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and service projects
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment inventories
- Support facility improvement projects and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a skilled, reliable technician with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to maintaining safe, well-functioning facilities. We would also imagine that you have:
- 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance, building systems, or a related technical trade
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Valid driver's license and ability to respond to urgent facility needs as required
- Fluency in English, both written and spoke
It is a plus if you also:
- Trade certification or vocational training in electrical, HVAC, or mechanical systems
- Experience with building management systems (BMS) or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental compliance standards
- Owning a car
