We are looking for an experienced FEHS ( Facility Environment Health and Safety) Manager  to lead our FEHS team. If you want to be part of a Scandinavian company that prioritizes employee well-being, this could be the right opportunity for you.

What is the job about?

The FEHS Manager is responsible for leading the FEHS team, planning and organizing their daily activities, and serving as a member of the plant management team in Serbia (Indjija).

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Lead the FEHS team and plan daily, weekly and monthly activities
  • Manage recruitment for the FEHS team, plan work schedules including vacations, flexible working hours, and days off, and ensure employee competencies meet strategic and company goals
  • Propose strategic initiatives within the FEHS domain
  • Monitor and respond to KPI trends within the area of responsibility
  • Ensure the building is operational 24/7 in a safe manner, with timely preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
  • Oversee company security and cleaning services
  • Participate in the development of Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP)
  • Support the development of Safety Leadership within the company
  • Contribute to strengthening the company culture
  • Collaborate closely with the FEHS Group and implement best practices
  • Foster cross-functional cooperation between departments to achieve company objectives
  • Manage the EHS GPS (Grundfos Production System) pillar and develop TIP plans
  • Respond to workplace accidents or violations of occupational health and safety requirements and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence
  • Analyze causes of accidents/injuries and propose preventive and corrective measures
  • Drive department performance through setting direction, delegating tasks, and motivating the team
  • Prepare the annual FEHS budget and FCST
  • Provide daily support to Production by managing building maintenance, environmental protection, and occupational health and safety
  • Ensure environmental protection and occupational health and safety compliance for GSE (Sales – Belgrade branch)
  • Implement and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) within assigned processes and elements
  • Ensure proper use and functioning of Integrated Management System(IMS) within GMS
  • Maintain compliance through cooperation with key EHS stakeholders, including legal institutions and relevant authorities

 

 

Your background:

  • Degree in Environmental Protection, Occupational Health and Safety, or Technical Sciences
  • Certified Health and Safety Advisor
  • Fire Protection Certificate
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leading or coordinating departments in environmental protection and occupational health and safety
  • Knowledge of international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001)
  • Experience with EHS legal compliance, standards, and methods, including approval processes for environmental and safety compliance in Serbian production facilities
  • Advanced knowledge of English language
