As our new Demand Planning Coordinator, you'll be coordinating demand planning activities across markets and product lines that ensure Grundfos delivers the right products at the right time to customers worldwide. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Supply Chain Planning team, you'll create impact by bridging the gap between commercial insights and supply chain execution to improve forecast accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Consolidate and validate demand forecasts from multiple markets, ensuring data quality and consistency across planning systems
- Facilitate monthly demand plan process with KAMs, HVAC OEM Leadership team and supply chain stakeholders to align consensus planning
- Analyze demand patterns, identify trends and outliers, and recommend forecast adjustments based on market intelligence
- Monitor forecast accuracy KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce bias and improve reliability
- Coordinate new product introduction and phase-out planning to ensure smooth demand transitions
- Maintain and improve demand planning tools, reports, and processes to support scalable planning operations
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you're a detail-oriented coordinator with strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a knack for translating complex data into clear, actionable demand plans. We'd also imagine that you are/have:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, or a related coordination role
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP/planning systems (e.g., SAP)
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights to cross-functional teams
It's a plus if you also:
- Experience with advanced planning tools such as SAP IBP
- Knowledge of statistical forecasting methods and demand sensing techniques
- Knowledge of think cell and Power BI
- Curiosity and interest in applying AI and digital technologies
- APICS/ASCM certification
