Data Analyst
Job Description

What is the job about?

As a data analyst you will be part of our Process Intelligence team in Group Supply Chain working closely together with other functions in Group Supply Chain, Group Center of Excellences (COE’s), Group process excellence functions and Divisional execution teams – also outside the Supply Chain domain.

The role of the data analyst is to collect data or apply existing data, define KPIs, develop and maintain dashboards, develop, and maintain process confirmation dashboards or apps that reveal value opportunities through proactive analysis of business processes and performance.

 

Your main responsibilities:

50% dashboard/app development

  • Collect and apply existing data pools for analysis
  • Set requirements for data model enhancements
  • Define relevant process indicators and KPIs
  • Test and verify outputs and results

40% data analytics

  • Ensure data collection and proactive analysis on a regular basis
  • Develop use cases incl. sizing the value opportunity
  • Develop and maintain performance reporting and process confirmation dashboards/apps for continuous business improvement
  • Compose suggestions for the unit/function based on the analysis conducted
  • Communicate opportunities identified and secure ownership for optimization/corrective actions
  • Track value realization
  • Communicate and follow-up on specific annual targets.

10% community engagement

  • Collaborate with the Grundfos community to elevate their proficiency through mutual learning, sharing notable achievements, and cultivating expert users, placing emphasis on recognizing subtle value opportunities.
  • Work closely together with collogues in related Group Center of Excellences (COE’s), Group process excellence functions and Divisional execution teams.

 

Your background

  • Bachelor or master’s degree or similar higher education
  • Experience within Business Intelligence/Data scientist/Supply Chain management/TQM/Lean_SixSigma
  • Alternatively, extensive experience within process improvement tasks and analytics.
  • Most likely to have 3-4 years of relevant work experience before entering level besides formal education
  • Expertise in guiding evolved methodologies pertaining to analytics and process intelligence
  • Experience working with defined processes & analytics within Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Operations or Quality.
  • Possess a natural interest & savvy for relevant supply chain IT systems/tools with the ability to adopt new technologies fast.
  • Possess industry experience. Working in a large manufacturing environment is greatly appreciated
