We are looking for a motivated Junior Full-Stack Developer to join our Apps & Automation team and contribute to developing modern digital solutions that support business and manufacturing processes across Grundfos.
What you will be doing
As part of the Apps & Automation team, you'll contribute to the development of modern digital solutions that support manufacturing and business operations across Grundfos.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Build and consume APIs while integrating applications with enterprise and manufacturing systems.
- Work with business and operational data from platforms such as Snowflake and SAP.
- Follow coding standards, security best practices, and reusable design patterns to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD processes to ensure reliable software delivery.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously improve existing applications while providing user support and documentation.
- Develop workflow automations and support the modernization of existing low-code solutions where relevant.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, and business stakeholders throughout the full software development lifecycle in an agile environment.
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you're a curious and motivated junior full-stack developer with a passion for building digital solutions, a strong quality mindset, and an eagerness to learn new technologies. We'd also imagine that you are/have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated skills
- 0-2 years of relevant experience; personal, student, freelance, or open-source projects are also valued
- Experience with TypeScript and modern React development
- Basic backend development experience in Node.js and TypeScript, including building and consuming REST APIs
- Understanding of SQL and relational database fundamentals
- Experience working with Git-based workflows and code reviews
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
It's a plus if you also have:
- Experience with Next.js, automated testing frameworks (Vitest, Jest, Playwright), and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of Docker, Azure cloud services, and OAuth2/OIDC authentication with Microsoft Entra ID
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and SharePoint
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, or similar solutions
