3PL Process Specialist

As our new 3PL Process Specialist, you will be designing, implementing, and continuously improving 3PL warehouse and logistics processes to ensure seamless operations across our global supply chain network. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Global Supply Chain Operations team, you'll create impact by Driving operational efficiency and service excellence by optimizing how Grundfos partners with third-party logistics providers to deliver world-class supply chain performance.

 

Your main responsibilities include

· Develop, standardize, and optimize end-to-end 3PL warehouse and distribution processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across sites

· Collaborate with 3PL partners to define KPIs, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives

· Lead process mapping, gap analysis, and root cause investigations to resolve operational issues and prevent recurrence

· Support onboarding of new 3PL partners by defining process requirements, SOPs, and integration frameworks

· Work cross-functionally with procurement, planning, and quality teams to align 3PL operations with broader supply chain strategy

· Identify and implement automation and digitalization opportunities within 3PL processes

 

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a process-oriented supply chain professional with strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and proven experience managing or optimizing third-party logistics operations. We would also imagine that you have:

· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

· 3+ years of experience working with 3PL operations, warehouse management, or supply chain process optimization

· Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP

· Demonstrated experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)

 

It is a plus if you also have:

· Experience with contract logistics in a global manufacturing environment

· Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Power BI or similar for performance reporting

· Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent practical experience
