As our new Service Sales Manager, you will be generating profitable service sales by leading the sales process toward professional end-users across Commercial Building Service, Industry, and Water Utilities markets, championing the Peerless brand and its full-service portfolio. What you will be doing:

 

As a key part of the Service Sales team, you'll create impact by driving market share growth by delivering maximum value propositions to key accounts and positioning Grundfos as the go-to solution provider in pump systems and services.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

 

  • Lead the service sales process toward professional end-users, driving growth in Commercial Building Service, Industry, and Water Utilities markets
  • Develop and manage key account relationships with decision makers at existing and target accounts, increasing awareness and selection of Peerless as a preferred supplier
  • Become highly educated in their target markets and service products and bring added value and resources to the sales process resulting in gains in market share
  • Create and execute monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales plans with clear goals and strategies to accomplish sales targets
  • Conduct product training sessions to increase the contracting community's awareness of the full Peerless service portfolio and rotating equipment offerings
  • Monitor competitive conditions and market trends, providing recommendations on pricing strategies, product changes, and new opportunities to maximize contribution margin and customer value
  • Support all aspects of the sales process including delivery, product quality, response time, and pricing to ensure a maximum value proposition

This is a remote position and will require in office presence as needed in the Indianpolis facility. 

 

What makes you a great fit:

 

Above all, you are a results-driven sales professional with deep knowledge of hydraulics and pumping systems, proven success selling service products, and the strategic vision to grow market share across key industries. We would also imagine that you have:

 

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years of relevant sales, commercial, or technical experience in rotating equipment or pumping systems
  • Proven success in selling service products, preferably centrifugal pumps, vertical turbine pumps, or other rotating equipment
  • Strong product knowledge and experience with hydraulics and pumping systems
  • Ability to travel at least 50% within the North American region, including a valid driver's license and ability to fly

 

It is a plus if you also:

 

  • Have experience with key account management in Commercial Building Service, Industry, or Water Utilities sectors
  • Have technical ability to select equipment and scope service work without written specifications
  • Have familiarity with industry trade shows and professional end-user engagement strategies

 

Please note that relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have the authorization to work in the USA without support.

 

The salary range for this position is $62,300 to $98,960 per year.  Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s & Peerless Pump Company total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Certain roles are eligible to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization.
