As our new Master Planner, you will be driving production planning and MRP execution for our Peerless Pump manufacturing facility in Indianapolis, ensuring customer orders are scheduled, tracked, and delivered on time. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Peerless Pump Supply Chain Planning team, you'll create impact by Aligning demand and supply across cross-functional teams to ensure every customer order meets its promised delivery date while optimizing production flow and inventory levels..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Run daily MRP transactions and reports, initiating actions to ensure full alignment between demand and supply across all customer order lines
  • Schedule and maintain production orders in SAP, prioritizing work to the production floor and facilitating production meetings with warehouse and production supervisors
  • Monitor production schedules and inventory levels, resolving bottlenecks and escalating capacity concerns when on-time delivery is at risk
  • Coordinate with procurement, production engineering, logistics, and vendors to ensure smooth material flow and production feasibility
  • Collect and analyze data using Power BI or similar tools to create action plans, reduce lead times, and support company delivery strategies
  • Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations and drive customer satisfaction

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a highly organized production planning professional with hands-on SAP and MRP experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional manufacturing environment. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field, OR 3+ years of experience in production planning/scheduling
  • Hands-on experience with SAP for production planning and MRP execution
  • Demonstrated experience in capacity planning and scheduling customer sales orders in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft 365 with sound knowledge of MRP processes
  • The ability to operate daily out of the Indianapolis, IN facility in a hybrid function.

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience with Power BI or similar analytical/reporting tools
  • Background in MTO/ETO (Make-to-Order/Engineer-to-Order) manufacturing environments
  • Customer engagement experience with the ability to manage expectations across internal and external stakeholders

 

Please note that relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidate must have the authorization to work in the USA without support.

 

The salary range for this position is $57,000 to $78,000. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s & Peerless Pump Company total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Certain roles are eligible to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization.
