Marketing Intern

Peerless Pump, an Indianapolis based subsidiary of Grundfos, is seeking a Marketing Intern for its Summer 2022 Intern Program. 

**This is a paid internship

The Marketing Intern will support marketing efforts through partnership with Marketing Manager, including moderate copywriting of brochures and other marketing and media materials.

This role will report directly to the Marketing Manager and will operate daily out of the Indianapolis, IN facility Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 

• Copy creation for marketing materials such as brochures, web pages, and other marketing materials.  Copy edit/adaptation, branding alignment, and communication of needed changes for existing content
• Website – Maintenance
• Trade media relations coordination – press releases, ads, etc.
• Provide generalist marketing support as needed.  This includes a variety of duties and may include data entry, data analysis, research, sourcing, event coordination and light project management. 
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Conditions 

• Full-time position primarily in an office setting.
• Ability to work at a computer for a full work day.
• Based in Peerless Pump office in Indianapolis, IN

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

• Must be an enrolled student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Equivalent.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in the English language are required. Copywriting or journalistic writing experience, especially in a technical environment, is a plus.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Competency in Microsoft Office products and all standard social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, You Tube, Twitter, Instagram), including analytics.
