Maintenance Supervisor

As our new Maintenance Supervisor, you will be directing materials, machines, and personnel to maximize efficiency within our Indianapolis manufacturing facility, ensuring production equipment operates at peak performance through preventative maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Engineering & Maintenance team, you'll create impact by Leading a skilled maintenance team that keeps our world-class pump manufacturing running smoothly, protecting the equipment and processes behind products installed in 145 countries..

 

Your main responsibilities include:


•    Supervise, train, and assign work to maintenance personnel while building a cohesive, high-performing team aligned on common goals
•    Ensure production equipment is maintained at peak operational performance through preventative maintenance programs and timely repairs
•    Control operating expenses by identifying waste, eliminating damage to materials and equipment, and reducing scrap
•    Track and report KPIs including PM completion, open work orders, CPARs, 5S scores, and overtime percentage
•    Manage project work including machine tool installations, facility projects, and kaizen events while coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders
•    Enforce safety, health, and housekeeping standards in compliance with OSHA, ISO, NFPA, NEC, and other applicable codes

We would also imagine that you have:


•    Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent, or 4-10 years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
•    Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and drive results in a production environment
•    Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and manufacturing equipment
•    Solid understanding of safety and compliance regulations including OSHA, ISO, and NFPA

 

It is a plus if you also have:


•    Prior supervisory experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance role
•    Experience with lean manufacturing principles and kaizen methodology
•    Familiarity with CMMS systems and KPI-driven maintenance management
•    Veterans with MOS experience leading a team maintaining and repairing sophisticated or precision mechanical systems are strongly encouraged to apply. *much preferred

The salary range for this position is $82,100-$120,645. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Peerless Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc.  Peerless Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Indianapolis, Indiana.
