As our new IT Application Specialist, you will be participating in application design, development, integration, and consultancy — delivering custom solutions across data platforms, reporting tools, and enterprise systems to support the Peerless business.

This position follows a hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 days remote) and will be based out of our Indianapolis, IN office.
What you will be doing
As a key part of the Business Solutions team, you'll create impact by developing and supporting critical business applications, data integrations, and analytics solutions that enable smarter decisions and more efficient operations across the organization.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Develop, maintain, and support data integration, ETL, reporting, and analytics solutions using tools such as BODS, SAP DataSphere, Snowflake, and SQL.
- Build and support custom applications, scripts, automations, and integrations using C#/.NET, SQL, Python, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
- Deliver application consultancy and act as a sparring partner toward stakeholders, advising on functionality, process improvements, and solution design.
- Ensure application security, stability, and continuous enhancement of features that benefit users and the business.
- Manage work items, source control, builds, deployments, and release documentation using Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Train program users to become more self-sufficient and create supporting work instructions and documentation.
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a technically versatile problem solver with strong SQL and data integration skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work autonomously across enterprise applications, analytics, and custom development. We would also imagine that you have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar, or equivalent work experience, with ideally 2-4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated capability with SQL scripting, views, stored procedures, functions, and data troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of SAP tables, data structures, transactions, and business processes.
- Proficiency with Office suite, ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written English skills including technical vocabulary
It is a plus if you also have:
- Experience with data integration/ETL tools such as BODS, SAP DataSphere, or Snowflake, and data platform concepts.
- Exposure to application development using C#/.NET or Python, and familiarity with Azure DevOps, source control, and CI/CD practices.
- General knowledge of networking concepts, firewall considerations, server interactions, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).

The salary range for this position is $78,800 - $104,280. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Indianapolis, IN.
