General Manager - Peerless Pump
Job Description

Are you a seasoned industrial leader ready to own the strategy, performance, and transformation of a renowned pump brand within a global organization?

Then join us in our mission to pioneer smarter solutions for moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing quality of life for people.

As a General Manager - Peerless Pump, you will be leading the full scope of the Peerless Pump business - setting strategic direction, driving profitable growth, and building a high-performing organization across commercial, operational, and functional activities within the broader Grundfos ecosystem. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.

What you will be doing

You'll create impact by shaping the long-term competitiveness and sustainability of Peerless Pump by integrating strategy, operational excellence, and people leadership to deliver profitable growth and exceptional customer value.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Own full P&L including revenue, EBIT, and cash flow; set and execute the business strategy aligned with Grundfos group priorities and Peerless Pump's market positioning
  • Drive commercial growth across fire protection, municipal, and industrial pump markets through effective pricing, channel strategy, and customer value propositions
  • Lead manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and engineering to deliver best-in-class safety, delivery, cost, and quality through lean and continuous improvement practices
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing senior management team with clear accountability, succession plans, and strong talent pipelines
  • Oversee Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) with focus on medium- to long-term capacity and demand decisions
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, regulatory, and governance requirements—including proactive management of operational, financial, and people-related business risks

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a strategic industrial leader with deep P&L ownership experience, a strong operational backbone, sharp commercial acumen, and a genuine passion for building capable organizations and cultures of ownership and continuous improvement.

We would also imagine that you have:

  • 12+ years of leadership experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, including senior roles with full P&L responsibility
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain management, and engineering-driven businesses
  • Proven track record of leading business transformation and continuous improvement initiatives at scale
  • Demonstrated ability to build high-performing leadership teams and drive organizational capability development

It is a plus if you also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field (Master's, MBA or equivalent preferred)
  • Experience working in a matrixed, international organization
  • Familiarity with fire protection, municipal, or industrial pump markets

Why you will love working here

We care! Day to day, you can look forward to:

  • A working environment built around your needs, with flexible hours, home working opportunities and parental support.
  • Annual bonuses, health insurance and a strong focus on well-being activities.
  • Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering in your community.
  • Access to on-demand training and learning sessions and carefully structured programs to pursue personal and professional development opportunities.
