As our new IS Onsite Engineer, you will be providing frontline IT infrastructure support across Grundfos facilities, ensuring seamless operations by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues while driving continuous improvement of our onsite IT environment. Location: Székesfehérvár or Tatabánya – traveling between factories are required.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the IS Onsite Services team, you'll create impact by Ensuring reliable, high-performing IT infrastructure that enables Grundfos employees to focus on pioneering solutions for the world's water and climate challenges..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Provide onsite IT support including troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and conferencing equipment
  • Install, configure, and maintain local network infrastructure, servers, and end-user hardware
  • Resolve escalated incidents and service requests within SLA targets, coordinating with global IT teams as needed
  • Manage local IT asset lifecycle including procurement, deployment, and decommissioning
  • Support site-level IT projects such as office moves, infrastructure upgrades, and new technology rollouts
  • Document solutions and contribute to the knowledge base to improve first-time resolution rates

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a hands-on IT professional with strong troubleshooting instincts, excellent communication skills, and a service-oriented mindset who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing or corporate environment. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Passion about IT onsite support or desktop engineering
  • Driving license in order to commute between factories in Székesfehérvár and Tatabánya
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Interest in hardware troubleshooting, imaging, and endpoint management tools (e.g., SCCM/Intune)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users

It is a plus if you also:

  • ITIL Foundation certification or experience working within ITIL frameworks
  • Experience in IT onsite support or desktop engineering
  • Familiarity with audio/visual conferencing systems and smart building technologies
