What is the job about? 

 

Grundfos CBS is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join its Commercial Building Services Sales team.  The Technical Sales Manager will drive sales and market development for Distributed Pumping, which is a focused HVAC applications involving various Grundfos products. This role acts as a subject matter expert, delivers technical training, crafts sales messaging, and collaborates across the region to promote sustainable HVAC solutions and ensure customer satisfaction, while contributing to strategic objectives for the CBS business.   This position reports directly to the Technical Sales Manager and will operate on a hybrid schedule out of the Brookshire, TX facility. 

 

Qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support now or in the future.

 

 Your main responsibilities

    • Lead sales and business development for distributed pumping solutions.
    • Deliver technical presentations, webinars, and training for engineers, contractors, and distributors.
    • Support system design, sizing software, and energy modeling for customers.
    • Represent the company at industry events (ASHRAE, BOMA, MCAA) and promote sustainable solutions.
    • Develop annual action plans and provide feedback to marketing and product development teams. 

 

Your background 

 

We imagine that you have: 

  • Bachelor's in engineering, business or related field.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in technical sales or sales engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of hydronic systems and distributed pumping technology.
  • Comprehensive technical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel 30 -40%
  • Strong technical aptitude, ability to understand and articulate complex technical solutions and concepts of hydronic systems and distributed pumping technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise between product management and sales teams.

Please note that relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have the authorization to work in the USA without support.

 The annual pay for this position ranges from $97,000-$144,000.   Actual pay will depend upon skill set, experience, and location. Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Brookshire, Texas.
