As Senior Key Account Manager, Water Treatment, you will be growing Grundfos' water treatment and disinfection market share across North America by managing strategic OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and key accounts within the Industrial Business Unit. What you will be doing

 

As a key part of the Industrial Key Account & OEM Sales team, you'll create impact by building and nurturing high-value customer relationships that accelerate Grundfos' water treatment growth strategy while delivering innovative solutions to the market. This position will operate remotely out of candidate’s home location within continental United States and relocation will not be provided. The candidate will need to be located close to a major airport and cities such as Denver CO, Chicago IL, Minneapolis MN, Kansas City KS, Houston TX is a plus.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Drive market share growth by engaging OEM partners through sales calls, trainings, trade shows, and professional groups—using a Hunt and Farm approach to uncover new business and expand existing partnerships
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with key decision makers at strategic accounts, ensuring Grundfos delivers maximum value across delivery, product quality, pricing, and responsiveness
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on total sales opportunities within key accounts and proactively position the full range of Grundfos products and solutions
  • Lead the development and growth of global agreements aligned with your focus area and key customers, in close coordination with local sales management
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, manage a robust sales pipeline, and deliver monthly reporting on activities, opportunities, and results

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a relationship-driven water treatment professional with strong technical acumen in dosing and disinfection equipment, proven key account management skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver growth. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 5+ years of relevant sales or key account management experience
  • Hands-on experience in the water treatment industry, including dosing pump and disinfection equipment knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50%, including international travel with an active passport

It is a plus if you also:

  • 3+ years of direct experience with dosing pump and disinfection equipment sales
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, Power BI, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Active LinkedIn presence and strong professional networking skills

You'll also be available for travelling up to 130 days per year.

The salary range for this position is $75,000.00 - $129,000.00. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in this region.

 

Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
