What is the job about?
The Director of Supply Chain Network is responsible for heading up the US supply chain center of Excellence (CoE), leading US localization projects, and translating strategy into concrete actions and responsibilities.
Reporting directly to the Senior VP, Group Supply Chain, you will have a team of approximately 3-6 direct reports and operate out of our new Houston, TX campus.
Qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.
Your main responsibilities:
- Lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain performance across global networks.
- Drive operational efficiency, scenario planning, and supply chain process ownership.
- Strengthen regional supply chain capabilities and elevate standards through global training and system upgrades.
- Act as Supply Chain Representative in Steer Co and in Geopolitical task force.
- Collaborate closely with Group Operations, Finance, Logistics, and Supply Chain Divisions to align strategy and execution.
- GPS auditing and developing corrective action plans of all US plants with special attention to supply chain.
- Establish objectives, processes, operational efficiency and develop execution plans linked to targets set.
- Select, lead, evaluate and develop the management team to ensure that the unit/department achieves the business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws.
Your background
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar role
- A master’s degree Preferred
- Experience developing and executing key strategic initiatives within a complex matrixed business environment; experience working in a large manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Extensive experience of operating and leading complex processes preferably within Operations or supply chain.
- Knowledge and experience of Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable
- Knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service and satisfaction to internal and external customers.
- Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
