As Head of DBS Programs, Small Circulators you move in the intersection between sales and product development. You become responsible for driving the growth of our business throughout the entire product lifecycle, as well as support and motivate a highly engaged and hardworking team, enabling them to focus on their core responsibilities within product maintenance and development.

 

What is the job about?

You will be responsible for overseeing all products and offerings within the portfolio. You will play a key role in driving the growth of our business by taking an end-to-end value chain approach throughout the entire product lifecycle. Through your expertise in program management, you will develop and execute product strategies across Business Units on behalf of Grundfos. Additionally, you will support the organization by providing product and commercial knowledge and delivering training initiatives to ensure that everyone is equipped with the necessary skills and understanding.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Ensure a competitive, profitable, and differentiated portfolio of products.
  • Accountable for short-term (0-12 months) product lifecycle activities, both commercially and technically.
  • Develop and execute long-term (1-5 years) product plans and roadmaps that ensure product competitiveness.
  • Lead development projects to deliver strong value proposition, project value, cost, quality, time-to-market incl. phase-in and phase-out of new and old products.
  • Drive product lifecycle excellence through cost optimization, price setting, product pruning, quality optimization, and product P&L optimization.
  • Comprehensive understanding of key markets, competitors, prices, segmentation and market dynamics.
  • Align product strategies with the needs and challenges faced by wholesalers, installers, homeowners, and market situation.

 

About you

We imagine that you have:

  • Master’s Degree in e.g. engineering or commercial, or commensurate experience.
  • Extensive experience in relevant profession and from leadership positions, preferably from a global manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide support, motivation, and development for a dedicated and high performing team.
  • In-depth experience in developing and implementing operating processes and product development projects.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and commercializing digital features in physical products.
  • Proven track record of executing key strategic initiatives within a complex business environment, as well as knowledge of best practices, policies, systems, processes, and regulations relevant to the role.
  • Strong communicative skills, and the ability to work within a broad touch surface – both internally and externally.
  • Experience in digital developing and implementing features.
